Tips for massages

My wife and I are going to Veronica's for a massage. What is the going rate for a tip? THanks.

Most of the time any service personel..server, hairstylist, massage therapist...is tipped the same rate. So here in the states the going rate is 15-20%. Being that the going rate in Mex is a bit lower I would think that a tip of 10-15% would be decent.

I was going to suggest a $5-10 tip regardless of the cost of the massage. I think even if your massage is just $30, as many are here, a $5 tip is appropriate. Maybe in an expensive salon, you'd want to go higher, but I tend to avoid expensive salons.

I would say that $5 or so is probably enough, but we tipped more. She was so sweet and enjoyable to talk to that we gave her more. Plus, you are saving so much money compared to a message at The Royal or in the states that is was still cheap.

My husband got one at Kool Beach Club and absolutley loved it. It was $50.00and I don't remeber her name but she was attractive. I think he gave a $10.00 tip. He would do it again.

It was 60 minutes and clean facility. The massage was good but a couple times a little painful. All in all very relaxing.

Interesting that you say that...my wife said the same thing. She actually had a couple of very sore places the next day.
