Jtm- I agree, for $500 a night it better be perfect.
We had to wear earplugs in our $65 a night room in Cabo ...if the A/C was on, it was too loud, if it was off, the car alarms and yelling outside kept us awake! But whaddya expect for $65?

I found this in a Cuba hotel review:

I would recommend this hotel - the only down side we found was that there was a lot of Canadians & Americans who were loud and brash. But hey you can't have everything!!

If anyone runs across a review at "TA" or anywhere that says, "This place ignored North Americans (or just Americans), catered to Europeans and no one spoke English", please let me know.
