Anyone for tennis?

Hi,
I'll be in Playa from Sept 29 to Oct 6 and I'm looking for a tennis partner for afternoons/evenings – I'm studying Spanish in the mornings during the week. I don't know how easy it is to book courts or what the procedure is so any info would be most welcome.

My level is around 2.5 - 3.0.

Hi mate,

I live in Playa, only a block away from Interplaya's sports grounds (10th Av. between 34th St and 28th St). They have two excellent hard courts and a practice wall. They are free, although you have to queue up to get a court during the cooler times of the day, i.e. early morning and evening.
There are other courts but not so easy to reach from central Playa: some in the Ejido at the western end of Av. Juarez, and some new ones at the northern end of Playa, right by Highway 307 (or 317, or 417. Hard to miss, anyway, there's only one highway round here...).
I'm an intermediate player, just below club level. PM me and maybe we could arrange something: very difficult to find tennis partners in Playa, most people either start drinking at noon (can't play in the evenings) or are too hungover to play in the morning...

Too right! I have been playing with JohnB and we're both advanced....beginners. I wouldn't mind playing tennis with you, Colin, but afternoons are better for me. Just shoot me an email or PM me for my number.

Thanks for the info, wish i had checked email earlier. Went to see courts earlier today, one was free but no one to play with. i think i`m about a 2.5 - 3.0 level, not as good as you guys but if you fancy a game i`m free in the afternoons after 3.0pm. i`ll check email daily or send me contact no at latriggxatyahoo.com...can`find at symbol on this pc

I´m an out of practice advanced player. I used to play at a competitive club level in Europe. If anyone wants to play - let me know by PM.
