I agree Shammy it is a little pricey, but I think if you get one of the ocean front ground floor units it is worth it for the view. I will get some pics in Nov. when we stay there and let ya all know if I think it is worth the price. The unit we rented is the one on far right side of the building ground floor. Since they are three bedroom if you went with another couple and split the price it would not be that bad. Also we are going second week in Nov. and that is still considered low season so you can also save some money that way.
I will post a trip report when I get back, cannot wait. |

Nope, but that will get her someplace, anyway, just not to the villa/condo page. James will forward any requests that go to the "contact us" button to me.
To access the "real" form, go to any villa/condo page, then click on the "check dates/more information" button you'll see. Or just click here. |

When my fiance and I head down for our honeymoon in december we are staying in a codo at a building called "arenas blancas" The gentlemen who owns the unit we'll be staying at has been wonderfully helpful, and the place looks very nice. it's a little away from the action (about 3/4 mile to the center of town) and a few minutes walk to the beach. The price was right, and the service thus far has been wonderful. The owner's name is Tony. If you do a google search I'm sure you'll turn it up! Have a good time.

Re: high season vs. low season.....
What I don't understand regarding 2008 is that Easter is 3/23 so technically anything past that week (April) should fall into low season. I am looking at dates of 4/19-4/26 and have found most every rental consider that to be part of high season - high season ending 4/30 so the prices for my week are the same as they would be for Easter week or mid Feb (which we know is primo vaca time!). Two years ago when Easter was in March as opposed to April (like last year), late April was low season. Not sure why the change for 2008. ![]() ![]() |

Shammy, It can be pricey, but oh so worth it. One tip. Call the numbers listed for rental. We dealt with a super nice guy named Jeff (in So. Cal I believe). He was able to negotiate the rate a little bit (okay, alot) and it made for the vacation of a lifetime. We have been to Playa many times over the last 15 years and I don;t think you will find better. One thing I will say, the best sunrise I have ever seen and I have seen more than my share, was on our balcony at the Luna Encantada(yes, we were up all night drinking Tequila). I think the bar tab was more than the Condo. Good thing it was a short walk.
