I finally won!!!

I just got back from the Durham Fair, our annual fair which is the largest in the country run completely by volunteers. Both of my photo entries in our annual fair won this year! This is the first time I've ever won, and I have to attribute it partly to all of the beautiful pics I've seen on this website. Ginger, Tommy, Thor, I could never compete with the likes of you, but I'm happy to say this pic won an honorable mention. It was taken from the wall in front of Xaman Ha last month.

And this one won second place! I'll even get $10 for it!

It was taken from the courtyard of the hotel we stayed at in Oaxaca last April. That was the trip I took with 25 high school students. I just snapped this pic in an instant when we first arrived, and the lighting was so nice on the building.
