He is from South Mississippi, near where I live. It is the Saints then the Packers, down here. He has been looking great this season.

You are SOOO lucky that your kid has Brett as his role model. That man is great. You probably did not hear his news conference this afternoon down in Cincy, but he was saying that "I've never felt I was a good a quarterback as Dan [Marino]. Just being mentionted in the same phrase elates me." (paraphrased).

Yes, he has had problems, especially as someone pointed out, with Vicoden. Well he openly admitted it and got the help he needed. And from what I've heard, Vicoden would lead to alot more interceptions than touchdowns.

When I had my wisdom teeth out the oral surgeon gave me a prescrition for it. I never turned it in, figuring that if Brett can't handle this, I'm not messin' with it!

You're right about that. I remember watching him in college and thinking he was pretty good then. Man, at that time I never realized I was watching one of the future great QB's in the NFL. I hope he finishes out the year like he's playing now and retires on a high note. Last year was hard to watch. He's one tought SOB!
