My Mom called. My cousin and her firend are so stinkin dumb! She had a shower this weekend and it started at 11a.m. Mom figured since it was around lunch time she wouldn't eat because there would be food. You'd think so right! Nope ..........well they had one artichoke dip with bread.! My Mom is a diabetic and needs to eat. So she asked finally for something to eat and they gave her 1 piece of cheese. And then didn't eat the dip until 1:30. Mom finally learned though! The rehersal is friday night and she's eating before she goes!

i cant believe they did not serve lunch!!!thats awful!!!

NO food!!! Why bother! A piece of cheese for your mom?!
I always make too much food. Heck, if a person is throwing a shower around lunchtime it is assumed that lunch will be served or a heavy duty array of appetizers. How annoying!!!

Maybe that's why I had someone ask Ashley if we were serving brunch when we had our 11:00 shower (we were)... I never thought to put on the invitation "Food Will Be Served"....

but maybe now I see why I should!!

I don't think you should have to write on the invite. Just don't plan it over lunch time!
I'm just griping to because I don't really like this cousin and it's her fourth marriage and well there's lots of other issues that go with her!
