The Rockies/Padres "1 game playoff" last night was one of the dramatic games I have EVER SEEN - if that win was by Boston at Fenway, people would be naming their kids "Holliday" and wrting songs and poems about it.

Damn...I stayed up late, watched the 13th saw the Padres 2 run shot...went to bed, only to wake up and see I missed the real dramatics. Oh well.

Let's GO CUBS...huge party tomorrow night at the local bar!

I think Rockies have some serious momentum...glad they aren't going to Chicago. Kinda nice the Phillies and the Rockies will have to battle each other, hopefully they will be all beat up when they face my Cubbies!!!!!

Ok so now that I have been proven right and my Mariners do suck big time I will root for the Cubs because they have LOU at the helm. Anybody have a goat we can borrow?

Yeah I got one. I'll shave my goatee. Starting bid is a grand. 1/3 to me, 1/3 to Basset Buddies Rescue (taking care of orphaned basset hounds in WI, MN and northern IL) and the rest to the peanut rescue in Playa. Any takers?
