I know-I know!! We have just been looking forward to soaking up the sun for so long. When I saw Cabo had sun almost every day, I though..."Why not try to switch to a sunny destination" but I have since figured out that weather.com is very unreliable for Playa. Thank you to those of you who have been positive and talked us into keeping our reservations! Also, that live cam has been very encouraging!! We are very much looking forward to our honeymoon in Playa!!

it's the tropics
Babaloo is correct re: the weather. It's a standing joke that the forecast is almost daily for rain and that rain often either fails to materilize or amounts to a 20 minute shower followed by sun. Don't get me wrong, it does rain here, but don't let the weather forecast spook you. If you don't believe me, all you have to do is to look at the annual rainfall for Playa and you'll see what I mean.

I can't wait to go underwater again. Where are you snorkeling at? Here's the link for anyone else who wants to see it. http://www.playa.info/playa-del-carmen-forum/35951-visitors-get-upclose-marine-life.html
