The monthly tests of the sirens.
They were next to every school.

That's a hell of lot scarier than a movie.

We brought our daughter to church for the first time (she was about 5 or 6),it was my parents church. The preacher had all the kids come to the front to tell them a story. He did a fire and brimstone, you're going to hell if . . . Talk about scaring a kid. She was scarred for quite a few years.

So there are going to be quite a few things kids learn as they grow up, including how to face fears.

This movie ain't nothing compared to what they are going to run into as they grow up.

Don't let that stop you from progress!

(in my job, you guys still using imperial really sucks...I write manuals, and I always have to have both measurements in there, and it is a big pain.)

Considering how well all the anti-drug and anti-sex and anti-drunkdriving propaganda we were fed as kids worked with our generation ...
maybe the Brits have figured out that it is in kids' natures to do completely the opposite of what a naggy goody twoshoes tells you to do?

Peak's peak has peaked. Try saying that after a few beers (which, as far as I know aren't in danger of running out anywhere).

Hey guys, if you don't care for my post, go after me!

My grandson may may be tender-hearted and shed some tears when his idiot teacher tells the class that California (where his favorite aunt lives), will be under 20 feet of water, but I guarantee he will never go after a nine year old kid on a forum.

OH, about the attack rabbit picture, just kidding, right?

Well, hey, get me: I'm so old I remember when somebody started a thread like this and it was debated, and then I started a thread like this after the IPCC report came out confirming as accurate the very sort of thing that appears in Gore's film, and then Scott shut that thread down after it was debated ad nauseum, and then PDS started another thread that was pretty much the same debate (even though he says it wasn't!) and Scott said he'd let that one run a while before he shut it down, too...

How many s are appropriate in a reaction to starting this thread up yet again, one wonders?

Hey Babaloser...I bet he thinks we don't like our pictures together above??....bwa ha ha ha ha...

Really, eccentric..you don't really think we were going after your grandson, right?......I mean, you get that, right?..It was YOU we were "going after"

I mean the chances that your grandson is reading this...well if he was, you wouldn't have much of a leg to stand on with your righteousness now, right?....not that you do anyway....sheesh)

Thanks for my portrait with Babaloo though..it made my morning...
