Children's Health Insurance Bill Veto

The President has vetoed an expansion of SCHIP, the state children's insurance program


What do you'se guys think about that?

well...many republicans aren't happy about that
one more thing they have to explain to their constituents

President Bush may not have had so much of a problem with the bill if hadn't covered some families earning up to $80K/yr and children? up to the age of 25.

It covered up to 3 times the federal poverty rate which is not 80K. This is the first I've heard of 25 year olds. Do you have a source? It was a bipartisan bill.
