Can anyone tell me the condiction of the beach at the resort? I will be there the second week of January

too soon to say
it could be much different by January
either much better, much worse (or the same)
now...there is some beach - not a lot

We just had friends get back and they say the beach at the Maya is one of the best. There are sand bags to be sure but still one of the best of all the hotels there IN THEIR OPINION. We are heading there in 31 days! Woo HOOOOO!

Went there for 3 weeks ago. After Dean they refilled te pool. The pool area is great. There is a beach. Both resorts besides dont have one. Construction is always on the beach to fill it up. They get new sand out of the sea.
