Isla Mujeres
I am in Playa right now and have a rental car for the week. I want to take my guests to Isla Mujeres for the day and don't know exactly where to go to catch the ferry. Would there be parking there?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!!

You catch the ferry to Isla Mujeres at the Puerto Juarez Ferry Terminal in Cancun. Yes, there is a long term parking area there. Though I've never used the service, I believe I remember somebody saying it was about $15 to park there overnight, so presumably they would have a day rate as well.

If you are going for the day, there is a ferry at Playa de Las Tortugas. The boats are faster and newer at this dock. There is parking but it is first come first serve. If you get there around 9:00am and on a weekday you should not have any problems.

Thanks!
Thanks for the help!
We drove to Puerto Juarez where there was plenty of parking, and took the ferry over. Once there we rented a golf cart for 400 pesos for the day--it was a great decision. Tooling around the island was fun and we stopped on the northeast side of the island to walk along the more rugged beach before lolling at north beach for the rest of the afternoon
