I recieved this email a little while ago.
Congratulations on your rare fireball sighting! We appreciate you taking the time to report this object to the American Meteor Society. Your summarized report may now be viewed on the AMS webpage at: http://www.amsmeteors.org/fireball/fireball_log2007.html Your event is #380e for 2007. So far there are 8 other reports of this same object. I invite you to check the table again in a few days to see if any other witnesses of your event have been posted. I knew we wern't imagining things or it was just a meteor shower. The funny thing is how so many of us saw it but saw it going in different directions. It really seemed so close, like the next town over from us...but it was also sighted in other states.
