Family friendly resorts in/near PDC

Hi, my wife and I stayed at the RPDC in April 07 and are thinking of returning to PDC this spring. This time we will be taking our Kids ages 4 and 7. We are looking for an all inclusive resort that has a nice beach and is kid friendly. Any suggestions
Thanks

Thanks Shammy, I have looked at some of the resorts you listed and so far the Sandos Playacar Beach looks to be what I'm looking for. It is not a huge resort, looks to have a nice beach and is in the price range I have budgeted for.
Question: We have never traveled with our childern before would they get a special rate or deals at an all inclusive resort.

Some resorts allow children (2-12) free during certain times of the year, some allow them free all year. If a resort doesn't offer free kids, then children pay a child's rate - which is half the adult rate at the most. Sandos usually offers kids free, this year they did anyway.

Sandos Playacar is a good choice. We've been there 6 times and have enjoyed it. The resort has new owners since we've stayed there but that shouldn't be an issue for you I don't think.
