Hi all, just got back home from playa for the first time, awesome ofcourse. Eventhough I enjoyed a couple of cocktails at the Blue Parrot, I have a different viewpoint of it. I'm a young forty something and like to party like the next guy, but I feel that the Blue Parrot is in the wrong location. If you have stay in a hotel close to the Parrot you won't be gettin much sleep till at least 2.a.m. This type of party(don't get me wrong, it's a lot of fun energy there at nite) shouldn't be on the beach where people are looking to listen to waves as we fall asleep. It's trying to be like a Cancun Niteclub, and with the base technology today it's wrong!. We stayed 2 hotels to the south and had agreements from most people in our hotel on this. I understand that some would tell me to find a place further away, but the hotel owners can't move and they are the ones that are slowly loosing out. Keep the booming parties on 5th or at the all-inclusives and keep the beach of playa peacefull and relaxing.
