Pre Tanning Do You or Don't You...
Never have bothered to use tanning beds before a trip..This time decided to..
Would like to have a tan base so I do not burn as much when we get to Mexico in Nov.... Bought 100 min. I had a choice of 4 tanning beds. The stand up one would be nice but you use 5 times the mins .. I am a bit claustrophobic so chose the bed that had the highest dome on top.. I did fine in it but.... ![]() I may be the only person walking around the Playa area with a white left hand... ![]() ![]() ![]() Every min. or so I popped my left hand out of the bed to feel the side of the unit and give the lid a little shove just to make sure it opened..

I pre-tan usually, but in the sun if possible. In the winter, I do the fake bake. For me it's a mental thing, so I don't feel like I'll HAVE to spend all my time at the beach getting a tan and that'll free up my time to do other things. I'm weird that way

Just pre-tan in the off season...Nov-early March. The rest of the time I can tan in my own back yard. I don't like having to haul a bunch of sunscreen...usually just take an 8 and a 4 so I don't burn.

I pre-tan so I just don't have to worry about burning. I HATE it though. The first year I started 3 weeks before my trip, and realized I'd only need 2 weeks at the most. If it's my second trip in a short time (last time it was only 5 weeeks between trips - I'm making up for that though, because the next trip prbably won't be for 6-7 months from now) - A week does just fine.
