FEAST AT LELE|OFFICIAL WEBSITE|MAUI'S FINE DINING POLYNESIAN DINNER SHOWOur condo we rented from ..VRBO® is Vacation Rentals by Owner® Vacation Homes Rentals by Owner we stayed at the Maui Kaanapali Villas. It was right north of Black Rock (Sheraton) on Kaanapali Beach. We had the best snorkeling of our trip right off the beach 4 minutes walk from our condo. It was awesome. The beach was perfect, not crowded. We loved the location, and we only paid I think $130 a night! It was right on the beach. Another one you might check into and is right next to Whaler's village is The Whaler, but will be more $$. A trolley came by every half hour I think to take you into Whaler's village, or it was about a 20 minute walk. Here is a good sight for more info Maui Vacations - Jon's Maui Info Get the book Maui Revealed a fantastic source. Have fun planning! I did a ton of research, so let me know if you want more info. How many are going? Have you been to Hawaii before? I am excited for you!

After reading your report i am thinking of maybe moving to Hawaii and to buy my own Maui real eastate! Did you ever think of doing that? It is as far as im concerned just an awesome place to be right? |

We"re returning to Playa again in Feb for two week holiday. An also trying to decide on cruise plans for our 30th wedding anniversary next year. All the best in your future.

Kris,
I read your trip report when you first posted it. My husband and I always have said that we would go to Maui for our 5 year anniversary in 2010. I will definitely refer to your trip report and info when we start the planning process. I'm a freak when it comes to researching and planning. My husband laughs but he always appreciates it. I can't believe how expensive hotels are! Not sure if we're going to stay in a hotel then a condo, or just do a condo for the entire trip. Also not sure if we will split the time between kaanapali and wailea. Also not sure if we should rent a car for the entire trip or just for a week. I'm guessing that we will go for 12-14 days. See what a freak I am, I'm already planning....... |
