RPDC online check-in question
I used the online check-in last night, it worked like a charm, its great. My question is can I log in again without losing my the room I reserved? I wanted to show my wife, who was asleep at 12:01 am. Thanks.

When is your arrival at the Royal?
I juste tried the check-in and it does'nt work for me, maybe it's too early. It says they don't have my reservation. I'll be there saturday. What if, we get off the plane and no place to stay I told my boyfriend we rent a condo and stay there till next summer he said OK yeah right...

We arrive Saturday also. I didn't have any problems with the online check-in. I used it at 12:01 am my time. Make sure you are on the check in for the Royal Playa, and not the Royal Cancun. Maybe you could call the resort and get a reservation number, that might work better. What type of room do you have? That might play a part in whether you can use it. Good luck!!

We booked a Royal Junior Suite Ocean View.
We usually take the last minutes so I asked for the papers to be at the airport. If the in-line check-in doesn't work, we'll have to wait to see what we get once we are there. ![]() I only have the travel agency's invoice et flight itinerary but not the hotel voucher ![]() I will try again this afternoon

a couples weeks ago we booked our room online at 12:05am Thursday am prior to our Saturday check-in and it worked like a charm and we were given the room we picked (399). We checked back multiple times between Thursday and Saturday-just to see if something else became available-so yes-you can go back in and check things out and change the room # if you wish. Have fun!

also-you should be able to check-in online using your first and last names-so don't worry about figuring our your reservation #. it worked for us in this format
First Name: my husband/me Last Name: our last name It required both our first names since it was booked in both our names, with a slash between them. |

It worked !!
I just did the check-in, it worked, I'm so relieved, I will have a room
![]() I called Air Canada Vacations and a very nice lady helped me over the phone. She was doing it at the time I was. With her help I was able to get in. ![]() Now I just have to pack and wait YessssssssThank you everyone

RCI & Royal Playa Del Carmen Online Checkin?
I think I read somewhere on here that someone exchanged their RCI week for a week at Royal Playa Del Carmen and successfully used the online registration, can you tell me how you did it? I've tried various name configurations with my husbands name and mine, since the reservation is in both our names, but no luck. We're scheduled to arrive on Saturday.
My confirmed reservation with RCI still has the hotel's old name Hotel Royal Porto Real and I can't seem to get into the Online Checkin for Royal Playa Del Carmen, would the hotel name on my confirmation be a problem? Please help! |

Are you in a Royal jr. suite ocean view room category or above? A standard jr. suite won't allow online check in, it must be Royal level or above.
If not that, then my guess is that RCI guests simply can't do online check in.

Thank you for taking the time to respond Shammy, I've made numerous calls to the hotel, RCI and the hotel a couple more times and the final explanation was they have the wrong names on the reservation. She did give me a confirmation number and said I would be able to do the online check-in once the name change was fixed. I'm to give her 30-60 minutes to make this change and then I'll try again.
The other thing with RCI reservations, you have no idea what room type you get, I'm guessing it's the lowest, probably what you called the standard junior suite. Keep you fingers crossed for me, |

you can still get into their online check-in system even if you are only in the standard jr. suite. You just can't pick your room. You can make requests though. Was the AI fee expensive when you went through RCI? We've thought about doing that, but it always seems as though when you take the fee and airfare into account, it's the same price as using a company like Funjet.

Help!
I am a brand newbie here - just registered about 20 minutes ago. We booked our reservation for the Royal today, and I keep trying the online check-in - I really want to pick our suite, but it won't let me in at all...Does your ressie have to be in the system for a certain amount of time? We arrive on Saturday..

wow-nothing like waiting until the last minute!
![]() If you have tried all the combinations of names and they still aren't finding your reservation, I would assume that you are correct and that a certain amount of time needs to pass until you are in the system. Might want to try calling them though. Have fun! |
