Entering trip report
Tried searching for this but... When I start my trip report should I put in word and then when it's done copy and paste it on the forum. How does that work with entering pics in between the text? Also want to copy and paste info from here then print it out before our trip. Should I put that info in word also? Have never used word before and it is confusing with all the margins ect. Thank's a ton in advance. You out there critter, bumper? Craig.

If you're using photobucket, you can click on the "IMG code" box and just copy that into your Word report. Don't do anything special with fonts or spacings or anything. Be sure to put spacing between paragraphs and pictures though, or they will be difficult to see properly.
Does that help some? |

You shouldn't have to change anything in word. Just type up your report, then copy and paste when you're ready to post it.
Use photobucket for pictures. You can upload them for free and then there is an image code, you just click that code for whatever picture and then paste it into your trip report. You have to do that after you've already pasted the report into the reply box though. |

Just use Notepad for typing and inserting the image locations with the IMG tags wrapped around. Then copy it to the forum.
No unsuspected code or margin stuff or whatever will show up once you preview or submit. It doesn't come nicer or cleaner than that. |

I got a question about sizes..... pic sizes and re-sizing. If I have uploaded pics to photobucket at a particular size (one of the larger ones), and then use the "img" link.... does it auto-resize on here or is there something fancy I need to do first?

Once you've clicked that you'll get an option (among others) to resize it. Easy peasy.

How come on some TR's the margins seem to be set wider and you have to scroll over to read the rest of the line. Yet on most, the margins seem to fit just right on this forum. Is there something you should or should not do to prevent these too wide margins?
