I am a huge fan of teh IB Tucan/Quetzal. There is mention of the "dark" walk through the jungle there. I have to tell you this, it is wonderful when the sun is beating down and you need to traverse from the front of the resort to the beach. You can avoid the sun by walking through the jungle. For my fair skinned midwestern self, this is a blessing. We stayed at another resort, the name of slips my mind, but there was NO shade at that resort and I got some form of sun poisoning that trip. Also, the jungle is a kind of a romantic (but watch your step on the irregular surface) walk at night. A few nice places to stop for a kiss along the way. Excellent resort, fantastic for families. I don't think it is the best place for honeymooners.
