It's one of the skills you have to pass during your open water dives to get your certification. You remove the regulator, drop it to your side and then sweep your arm around, find it, put it back in your mouth, perge to clear and resume normal breathing. (did I get that right dive masters)?

....that is what I figured but it sounded like it was during a normal dive, so I was just curious.I can totally see panicking if you had any hesitation clearing it. A good thing to be aware of in advance!

Are you going to the Rana party with your pants on outside your tights tonight Paolo? I think you should.... I've seen photo's of your legs (when you were dressed in a frock)... you would look kinda fetching.
