I have a glass hob and found a fantastic (and cheap) specialist cleaner for it at the local homeware shop. Its called "Hob Brite". I just smear some of it over the glass using a "Bounty" kitchen roll sheet. Leave it to dry for a couple of minutes. Then bob and fanny are your uncle and aunt it wipes off. No elbow grease. No scratches. No problem.

Maybe it got bastardized over here across the pond over the years.![]() (I was just commenting on the use of the word fanny...because it means bum here...but something a little different over there right? )
