Another guy with a man-crush on Favre...must be about 10,000 of you guys in WI now.

Sorry I cannot like Favre, hes a Packer. As a Vikings fan he is my mortal enemy along with any Packer.

except for favres two TD passes it was a pretty boring game. not a lot of scoring in the red zone. the only reason it went into ot was because the packers forgot how to tackle on the last denver drive. cutler was pathetic.

There are some players you have to respect, regardless of the color of their uniforms.
Sorry, I can't think of anyone in purple to make my analogy (well, maybe Longwell).

Brett offered to give up football 100% when his wife got breast cancer - great man and great quarterback.
PS - She would not let him!

Then you arent looking hard enough....there are plenty of stellar people that currently play for the Vikings, not the least of which is our new rookie RB Adrian Peterson.

Peterson could have a great career if he stays healthy.

Is that the best you got? A Rookie?
Maybe in a few years, I'm talking guys like Brady, Manning, Urlacher. Or if you want to go historical ... Payton, Singletary, Staubach, Jordan.
Ask me about Peterson in a decade or so

First off, no there are plenty of good respectable citizens on the football team so no thats not the best i have.

Secondly what does "years" have to do with it? I didnt know time was a consideration when it came to upstanding players worthy of respect. You said:

So once again what difference does time make in that equation? A rookie cannot be respected now until hes been in the league long enough???
