Immaculate conception - the idea that Mary, Jesus's mom, was conceived without original sin.

So, you're saying I was right or wrong first time? Because I thought it was about Jesus' conception, not Mary's. Auntie Rita, will you help us out?

I dont think they were married yet when god/ the angel knocked her up. Thats why He sent the angel to tell Joseph about it so he would still marry her.

About which part am I wrong? The virgin birth, wars being fought in the name god, or churches collapsing on worshipers?

Not to give you a hard time, but I actually have links to back all three points up...

Did the angel tell Joseph he was marrying "damaged goods?" Generally, it was poor form to marry a woman with a "bun in the oven" back in the old days, no?

Don't worry, I'm not singling out the Catholics. I'm not a big fan of any organized religion, but ESPECIALLY those holding on to IMMENSE wealth while there are millions of children all over the world dying of hunger every single day.

So you're saying the Christian religion began because some naughty geezer with divinity dellusions, a beard and a way with words got a virgin bride-to-be up the duff and then convinced her to marry her unsuspecting carpertenter beau to avoid paying child maintenance?!

And where does cocaine taking come into all this? I know there wasn't any Viagra around at the time... you don't think that the god...?
