Not that I know of. Unlike Majahual, the Feds are pretty heavily involved in the effort. I imagine the Red Cross is active, as well.

You can donate through bank to bank transfers (not everyone has had good experiences with paypal).

We just went shopping to deliver to the city hall .... one huge truck was just leaving filled with aid for Tobasco . It really is an eye opener when you see people that can hardly afford to feed themselves donating a few cans of food . I got quite emotional .......

Finally read up on this and looked at pictures. So, so sad! And we were driving right through there just a handful of months ago. I hope they're getting all the help they need through this... at least the government seems to be stepping up to the plate with this disaster.

I saw it in the news here in Norway yesterday, and today they are saying the situation is getting worse.

Oh Robert, that is very touching.

This is so sad, and the first I've heard of it, haven't seen it in the news up here.

All Red Cross Delegations and the Municipal Hall through DIF are accepting donations in kind for Tabasco, All banks are accepting cash donations. Thank you so much for your prayers and your help.
Iīm on stand by from the Playa Delegation hoping that they will send me soon, it is too expensive to do it privately again. But if they donīt I will go on Monday, as soon as they have buses going that way.

WalMart, too. You can buy the dispensa boxes in the store, and then just put them in the collection cage on the way out.

Just wanted to give money to an association of several aid-organisations (Red Cross and others together - it's called 'Germany helps') but when I had to choose the exact destination for the money (they are always collecting), Mexico was not listed... guess I will have to wait a day or two as they are still checking whether their help is needed. They do have it on their agenda though.
