Tabasco under water

70 % of the state of Tobasco is flooded and it no one notices . It is all over the Mexican tv networks but doesn't get a mention in the world press .

I was going to post this, last night.

The city of Villahermosa looks worse than New Orleans, in some places.

It made the prime time news here.
Surprisingly it doesn't seem that many Peeps have seen this.

That's not true, I read it this morning in the german news. They even said it was 80 % which is more than shocking.

EDIT: I posted after having read only the first entry...

Not cool. Btw, I have never heard a president asking for "toallas sanitarias" to help the relief effort. I'm sure they are needed, just never seen it on tv.

Anyone coming down that feels like they want to help, there is a donation center in front of city hall, in Playa. Clothes, diapers and water are the biggest needs. Semi trucks will be headed there, soon.

Soon as in? The money from Europe that is supposed to go to Majahual is coming in this weekend...... maybe I'll use some of it for this cause (if the donors agree).
