Mark, great idea for this thread. Enjoyed the Magic Numbers and Ryan Adams. Caught up with that tour at Red Rocks this summer. He puts on a much better show straight than he used to. Played for two hours at the conclusion of a 5 band day.

Had a tough time finding a video of any quality of The Gourds doing the Snoop Dogg cover Gin and Juice. Makes me smile every time I hear it. I wonder what Snoop thinks of it.

I was looking for some Gourds stuff on YouTube yesterday. I have to admit I wish that this thread had never started as I seem addicted to looking at umm....odd things on it!

One of the best concerts I have ever been to, I went to on a whim. I called Ticketmaster on the day of the show and was awarded with front row center tickets that had gone unclaimed by those record execs and radio people that were supposed to get them. The Feelies opened, and this band was the headliner. Changed my life.

I can't believe I found this! The Skunks were probably the first and likely the best Austin punk band. They are playing in this video at Raul's the first punk club here. The sound and images are terrible, as they should be.
