Yeah, it was a long time ago!! We were both crazy

Oh, okay then. As long as shooting guns was a part of your relationship, I can now understand how you didn't get too bent when he shot at your car while you were in it. Silly me!!

The only guy I ever dated who even owned a gun was a quasi-lunatic who volunteered to do another 18 months in 'Nam with Marine Recon (for you younguns, that's not something most "sane" people would re-up for). But even he kept his collection locked up in a safe. If he'd ever started waving those things around with me, I would've been gone QUICK!

Doin' okay actually. Had a few rough moments here and there today, but all in all, I'm doing pretty darn good. No murders commited, no middle fingers flipped during traffic on Route 24. Even had the deep-rooted calm within me to laugh out loud when I caught a tenant lying to me about when she mailed her rent (she told me she mailed it on Monday, 10/29, and the money orders, which arrived today, were all dated 10/31 - D'oh!!! You izzz bagged!!

People whose word is no good. The world I live in a persons word and a handshake is something you only get to break one time and then I am done with you. Life is too short to deal with people who play games.

I may be splitting hairs here, but to me, there is a difference between a "turn off" and a "deal breaker"

A "turn of" might be something you can get past, given half a chance (or a second date)

A "deal breaker" is just that - no second date, second chance will get you over it.

So, for example:

A "turn off" = sweaty palms (icky. but....could be he's just nervous)

a "deal breaker" = stupid. or, someone who shoots at me. But hey, that's just 'cuz I'm a liberal.
