I think that there is nothing wrong with a older woman hitting on a younger male. I think that it should be a right of passage myself.

yes, that macho mentality... scoring with an older woman or whatever... which is another attitude in society that is such a huge double standard...

and I think that sets some boys up who are not ready for sex to feel that there is something "wrong" with them if they don't want to be aggressive sexually... when maybe they're just not ready... and they go ahead and act on it... or are able to be led by an older woman to do it...

which I know is going to cause many guys on here to say I'm being completely ridiculous and that ALL boys want to get some... which could just be proving my point... being conditioned to think that's what ALL boys want....

It is an interesting phenomenon-but not a new one. There was this female teacher in Jr. High-MikeW remembers her-that would sit on the table in front of us with her short skirt and fishnets. It just made all the girls sick (okay, except maybe one girl liked it-not me though ). It was rumored that she didn't wear underwear. Double yuck. Many of the guys just loved it. I washed my hands every time I left the classroom. You never knew where she had been sitting, or where that thing had been

There was also the male teacher that everyone knew to stay away from-either female or male. It was known truth not to be in a classroom, or any closed-in space with him.

I also blame it on the school--It fostered that kind of phenomenon/environment. That school did not have a trusting environment. Students who told administration any kind of negative information were publicly humiliated. So, no one spoke up. We all knew not to speak up. Still tees me off thinking about it.

Yes, but there is at least a bit of adifference here. Ya see the older person is a woman able to fend for herself. If she makes a decision to have sex with a younger male and gets pregnant she being an adult can make that decision. Plus she is or was gainfully employed so she could support a child.

If she was 13, she couldn't be all that gainfully employed and we the tax payer would be paying for the kid.

so the only issue here is how old the person is who can get pregnant? nothing about sex and the age at which a person can agree to it consensually? nothing about a child being taken advantage of? it's about where my taxes are going??

I've never heard of a male being forced to have sex with a female, just not possible. A woman can be forced to have sex. So yes there is a difference between males and feemales and the ages of consent.
