Predatory Females and Their Young Male Students

It's in the news that a teacher from Nebraska was apprehended in Mexico, with a minor male student with her. I have now run out of fingers to be able to count all the cases like this I have heard about, or know about firsthand. What is wrong with these women?

Personally, I cannot think of anything less sexy than having sex with a young boy or teenager. I prefer mine with a bit of gray, always have and always will.

I think it is sick myself. Although, after watching Dr. Phil this week, it makes you wonder how many of these cases are true and how many the boys are lying about!

I think its that attention from younger males make them feel young and desirable. Obviously they have issues. In their minds they probably feel that the attention from these boys means that they are as hot or hotter than even high school girls. Lots of insecurities. They may also enjoy the fact that they are in the dominant role. Perhaps they have been vicimized by men and are looking for something where they hold the upper hand. I by no means am justifying their actions just delving into how their thought process may function. I personally think its icky but im not them.

I think you hit the nail on the head kayt! I have a friend whose husband abused her mentaly and was an alcoholic. She finally left him a few years ago and now lives with a guy almost 1/2 her age. She told me once I should trade mine in for a younger model, I'd like it. Of course I was not tempted, but I think your reasoning fits her behavior as well. I'll stick with my old guy, he is perfect for me!

Are you asking what creates pedophiles? I don't know the answer to that.

This was a 13 year old boy, yes?...Then this is criminal pedophilia, pure and simple...

Yes, she is married to him now and they have two children together. But she first taught him in grade 3 when he was 8. They became 'romantically involved' when he was 13, she 34. That's disturbing!! This is why there ARE stat rape laws, because children can be so brainwashed by adults and I think that BOYS are even more susceptible to this, IMO.

Oh, and thanks! We will be bringing an extra suitcase and getting a bunch of xmas shopping done while there!!

When I was in high school this guy (17) I knew from the Catholic school beside our school ended up marrying his teacher who was at least 15 years older then him. They waited til after he graduated, but it still was gross. Weird thing is that he ended up leaving her about 6 years and a few kids later for another man!

I was just reading the article about the teacher caught in Mexico and she said they were 'in love'.....whatever the heck that is supposed to mean.
Jeff and I were just talking about this cause he is the police officer at a high school that just had charges filed against a male teacher for 'contact' with a student. We both agree some of this has ALWAYS gone on but it just wasn't talked about or no one knew. I don't think it's just a new crop of teachers who like sex with students. I can remember a few strange things from school that would nowdays make me go 'huh?'.
It's sick and it's predatory. Male or female teacher....it's just wrong for a person that is in a position of trust and authority to take advantage.

There's been at least 3 cases in mid Michigan in the last two years. Each time it's been a female teacher and a young boy.
