Oaxacan Highway Blockade, Be Aware

Last week Oaxaca, the city, was calm and beautiful. We drove south for Tehuantepec and two hours later were caught by a union blockade. No traffic was allowed to pass and how long it would last was unknown. We made a lengthy detour north and stopped in Vera Cruz, always fun. Just another adventure in Mexico.
