Yep, if all the cam's are down...then look further down the beach....there is some other cams.

Ah, well, the cams may be down, but I must tell all of you that even were they working, they would not have done justice to PDC. In fact, I am kind of glad they were down, because now that I think of it, I spent two days in the beach chair directly in front of the Playa Palms cam and I don't want my big tuchas on the web for all to view.

I don't know if I went to places all of you would have recommended, but I loved PDC. I am ready to move there! Ok, not seriously, but what a wonderful place. The people were gracious, the weather bright and sunny for the entire trip (all of five days) if not a bit hot, but it is August after all. Club Yebo was a great find and the bartender at Kixten makes the finest Margarita I have ever had the pleasure of drinking. I believe his name is Luis Miguel (?). And, I met a nice fellow, someone who lives right in PDC. I had not even intended on meeting a man, but we had a terrific conversation and I have already received email from him. Talk about a vacation bonus! I also met a realtor named Sandra, whom I will keep in touch with. Who knows? I may make the move someday.

Thanks to all who offered advice and suggestions, I will be back to this board as well as PDC. Soon!

All right already.... I NEED a virtual beach fix to lift me out of a funk. Any idea when the cam will be up again? I may have to release the monkeys soon if I don't see the beach again in a few days.

Thanks for fixing the cam. It's great having my morning coffee with a live view, just wish I could have my toes in the sand too.

Just tuned in to today's episode of the Playa Palms webcam show and missed a sweet wave. Just picture a great parade wave to the folks at home and that is what she was doing.
