better late....

than never! I am the king of procrastination! I feel guilty for never doing a real trip report !! I've been bummin' around Mexico since the early '70's! Not one trip report! Yeah, I try to contribute a some useful info on posts every now and then, but that is just not enough! So, here goes...a Reader's Digest (well, I hope you didn't expect more) from our Feb. 2007 trip to RPM in PDC and MP near PM.
We set the security system before taking off.

We were a little concerned at the airport, but a few bloody marys got us past that.

We arrived and got ready to van up!

A few shots at the RPM in Playa...

Heading to the beach at RPM (it was pretty eroded compared to previous years, but it looks like it is recovering again from recent posts).

In recent years we never miss going to Akumal for some snorkeling...

And of course LuLu's is a must for shrimp tacos....
http://
A lot of folks frown on time shares, but the MP has always served us well as a base of operations and as a great place to just chill....

We met up with some friends staying at a RIU in Cancun and went on a Captain Hook cruise with them. Hey, it was their first time to Mexico so they had to do some of the touristy stuff! It actually was a fun evening!

We always have to treat ourself's to a special treat in PM (and we love Hola Asia too!)....

Bummerit's time to head home...

Well, that's it folks! I'll try to step up in Feb. 2008 and do a little better! May even describe the road trips that we usually take! Thanks to all for the great info that you provide!

Does someone come by to feed your security system, or does he dine on the tresspassers?

Great sign.

That is one good security system. Makes someone think twice before trespassing onto the property. Grrrrrrrrr.
