Hi all, day one on this forum, great advice, suggestions.....thanks
I have an old friend, whose older sister jumped on the Yucatan band wagon years ago, and moved down there and opened a restaurant. I've just learned (thru word of mouth) she has a show at her restaurant where she impersonates either Mae West, or Marilyn Monroe or something like that. Sorry for the vague description here, but I'm heading down for a quicky trip on 03/24/06, and would love to look her up, and surprise her with a visit, she'd absolutely freak! I'm not sure if this restaurant or entertainment place is in Playa or Cancun, but is this ringing bells with anyone??.
Also would like to do a 1/2 day snorkeling in calm waters, have been to eastern caribbean earlier this year, and the current was just so strong, didn't enjoy thyself. Any recommedations.....staying at Viva Wyndham Azteca, so if there is anything in this neck of the woods, I'd greatly appreciate any feedback.
It's been years since I was in this neck of the woods, and greatly appreciate this forum, to plan my itinerary.......WOW, looks like lot's has changed.
