Wow, $140 for one nights partying and you ate and had drinks before you went out? How is that possible. I mean are there huge cover charges, or are the drinks $10.00 each or what. We don't ever spend much more than $100.00 per day for two, but we don't stay out all night either, maybe that 's the difference. I bet if we were younger, we could try to party til close, but the old bod just wont' do it anymore !!!!!

I don't know about you Jan, but I think I'm beyond my partying all night days.

I'm lucky to be awake at 10 PM in Playa

Sure sounds like fun though

Funny how being in Playa seems to do the same to us. I can count on one hand the times that we did manage to stay up later than 10 but then we find ourselves sleeping in late the next morning. We're such loosers.

Just think of all the money we're saving! It would break my budget to be out past 10 PM. All the halloween party pictures looked so fun, but I'd probably be ready to leave when the fun was just starting. Or I'd have to sleep late and take a nap in preparation.

Funny you should bring Halloween up. I was talking to Bluespicker this morning about doing a short trip to Playa for halloween next year just because that party sounded like a blast. I think we would have to sleep all day to stay up for the party though

I think we are "above average drinkers" and have yet to spend that on one night out drinking in Playa. My husband only drinks beer and I like Margaritas and the odd shot of tequila; but $140. Yikes. Did you check your bills carefully? or were you doing $10 shots of Don Julio? That does add up.

Sounds like you had a great time though.

Drank more than we should at the Bucket.....

$36 bar tab at the night end.....Yeah baby yeah!!!

Go to Walmart & buy booze for your room....will save some $$$

We spend about $100 a day....I put all my excursions/rentals on the Visa though & worry about it later!

Sounds like $100.00 will be about right.

Lol honestly, back here in the UK it costs us £100-£150 for a night out (roughly $200-$300) so over there is actually cheap for us!

It taking a lot for us to get drunk is not a good thing, I wish I could go back to being a lightweight - all the fun and same effects as having more drinks but a lot cheaper and a lot quicker
