That's really weird because my hubby lost his too and I'm looking for it right now all over the house...or when I'm not posting!
If you find yours, let me know where it is, maybe that's where my husband's is!

That really sucks!
Sorry to hear it and hope it somehow has a good ending for you. It would be a HUGE pain to lose my wallet and I really hope that never happens. I did lose my only credit card (that i took with) on our last day in Playa 4 years ago. We had like 50 pesos to last us the day, buy tickets to the ferry to get to cozumel, pay for a taxi to the airport and eat...not good. |

There's an epidemic! My daughter Kelsey lost hers last weekend. Thought it fell out of her bag on the train home from Boston. What a horrible feeling! Wondering who has it, who knows her address and what she looks like and all her personal info! Went back to the station; tried to find someone to talk to about it...no one responsible on duty on the weekend.
We put a stop on her debit card, and would have needed to have her apply for a replacement driver's license. Thankfully, she found that she had just kicked it under her bed when she was unpacking her bag from the city. Hooboy! We were lucky, but I know that horrible feeling. Feel your pain and hope the loser who took it returns it to you!

I didn't lose mine, but this thread reminded me of another lost wallet. My friend Tim's brother and his wife took their bikes out to South Dakota. On the way back they stopped for gas and he couldn't find his wallet. They headed back to the last rest stop they were at to look for it. A trucker asked them what they were looking for. They told him and he went on his way. As the truck was getting back on the interstate he slammed on his brakes, got out, and yelled "is this it"? The wallet was laying on the entrance ramp. They were very lucky!!!

I "lose" so much stuff...some I find, some I don't. My biggest regret was a charm bracelet that I began an the last charm I had on it was a little baby carriage with pink wheels (for my daughters). One Christmas they bought me a charm to add to the bracelet, it was on my table, and I think I threw it away with all of the Christmas wrappings. I was devastated!
But, that's nothing like a wallet because of all of the consequences. Just shows that we have so much on our minds that we "blindly" lose things we should never lose. Sorry to hear your news, though!

There must be an epidemic!! My son lost his on tuesday!! He went to Walmart and when he came home.....no wallet. Went back to Walmart..they haven't seen it they say. So I hope it's just in his messy room because where he lives, there is a huge problem with identity theft. That is something he doesn't need. He just graduated from UBC (university in Vancouver BC) on Wednedsay. I am sooo proud of him. I am bummed if he doesn't find it tho.....I give him money for his grad and then he has to turn around and spend it all on replacing ID> This really sucks 'cuz he is coming home for Christmas, supposedly on the plane....but can't fly if he doesn't have ID!!!! (no passport yet)
