I finally crawled out of bed this morning about 7:30 am... I can't remember that last time i spent 3 days laying in bed watching old movies and dozing off. Went shopping, ate lunch with a friend, got my oil changed, and shopped some more.

Boy...talk about pushing the envelope. Life in the fast lane. I'm envious, Rita, m'dear.

Morning! I think I am going to work on decorating tomorrow. It's suppose to be cold and windy tomorrow. Good day to stay inside!

The worst thing about online Christmas shopping is you don't ever get into the Christmas spirit. Does that happen to you guys?

I always listen to Christmas music (kids hate it!) and that helps! We always pick a child off the tree and together we find something for that child.

With enough of a gimlet eye, this could actually be the beginnings of an erotic novel.

I got home from Mom-sitting last night, and am now getting re-acquainted with all my time-wasting routines.

I have been really surprised, and quite honored, at the way my kids and hubby are acknowledging the big impact my absence had on the household. Most gratifying, although I do suppose it's sort of pitiful in a way.

But for now I'll latch on to the gratifying part.

go with the gratifying!!

I went into the dollar store to poke around for some Christmas cards... speaking of pitiful, some people on this forum hand make their cards and I picked up a pack of 25 for a buck... and came out with $30 worth of things... seriously, 30 ITEMS at the dollar store when I went in for ONE... and I could have bought more, but I had the stroller and the basket was full and things kept dropping off....
