Anyone have a PS3?
Just got mine hooked up and am blown away with all that it can do......Just watched 300 in Blue Ray and it was incredible..... But was wondering If anyone has one and is into the online gaming scene.....I have Call of Duty four and Assassins Creed.......Thought maybe we could play.......

I haven't got one yet, but I am planning on it. I couldn't decide if it would be a good buy or not. Sounds like you like it though. How was the HD on it? I have a HDTV and really want to get the Blue ray dvd player but if this is good I'll buy it instead.

Getting a wii for the kids. I wonder if you can play online somethign like COD4 on a wii against someone on a ps3???
I dont get the bluray/hdd thing, i put a dvd in my dvd player on my hdtv bigscreen and it looks incredible...cant imagine needing more than that but thats just me YMMV.

I could hook you up with my son, he plays online....

(he rented both those games, they are on his xmas wish list)

No gaming platform here. Used to PC-game a lot in HS and early in college, but O-chem took my attention elsewhere. If I bought one, I know I would not get anything done. A bit of an addictive personality I think

All this talk about COD4, though, reminds me of a bumper sticker I saw a few weeks ago that made me laugh out loud:

"My gamer fragged your honor student"

Simple, but I thought it was funny.

The HD in awesome.....Have the HDMI cable from the PS3 to the TV and it plays in 1080p and we watched 300 last night and were blown away....The detail makes you feel like you are there......It is a good buy for all that you get but you will read reviews that say the Xbox 360 is better....The only thing that may make it better is at this time you have a better selection of games but PS3 is catching up......Have been told the 360's fan is noisy and you can hear it when watching DVD's and has a problem with getting really hot......None of those issues with the PS3.....Also spend the extra $25 bucks for the remote for the PS3 DVD......

Have you done any online competition? And I do want that game and will get it today am going to go get a new receiver......Mine is out of date......

I don't think so....I wish they had a online community where everyone could play against or with each other in teams no matter what gaming system you had......BUt I think you may be limmited to within your own system.....
