USA Transfers

I have read a lot about transfers to and from the airport and wanted to know if anyone has used USA Transfers? We have a group of 8 so the bus wouldn't make sense if we can just pay a couple extra dollars for a van. They have a rate of $115 round trip (private van, just us). I haven't seen any other transfer service offer that amount. I know Playa.info has their own service and would love to use it but for the savings I was thinking about booking with USA. Do you think Playa.info would match that price? I would much rather support them. We also have a different drop off and pick up location and USA said that would be no problem. Thanks for you help in advance!

I've used several transfer companies and USA Transfers seems to have the best prices. I'm using them in January. We thought about just taking the bus this time, but decided to go with private transfer. I've also used a company associated with the Plaza Marina condos that was excellent (but pricey). The guy pulled all our luggage down the streets, into the complex and up the stairs to our condo and on the return trip, the same. That was when there was less restriction on luggage weight. (he EARNED his tip, believe me! lol)

We used USA Transfers last year to Akumal and were very satisfied. In fact we had them booked again for this year but then decided to take a car for our whole stay since we were getting a condo at the end of the Half Moon Bay road (1.5 miles from town)

Worthless nut,

Those prices are for one way trips not round trip. So it would be $190 for us instead of $115. I think I am just going to go with USA transfers.

I don´t think it´s very discrete to first ask that question here publicly and later on, after you did the maths, state you´re going to go with the competitors...
You could've sent a PM to Heather, James and/or Anna.
Or contact them here

I still haven't booked it yet. I was still hoping to hear from them. I did the math before I even posted hoping to hear from them. I am somewhat new to this board and don't know the people in charge yet. I didn't know I could contact them directly. I always just see them respond to people. So Heather, James, or Anna please feel free to contact me about this. Like I said I would love to support your guys. If I don't hear from you this week I will contact you directly through the link TeeZet sent me. Thanks TeeZet!

Playa.info's rates are very competitive among service providers who do not own their own fleet of vans.

I think booking with Playa.info for this service ensures a hassle-free experience with booking and resolution of any minor problems you might encounter.

Playa.info relies on the sales of services like airport transfers and tours in order to stay in business, but if you want to book with another service to save yourself a few dollars then that is your prerogative.

Now, I wonder if USA Transfers has an informational website and forum that is totally free for their clients to use?

For the hassle-free experience is the reason we booked the Playa. info service. Nothing would spoil the beginning of a otherwise very pleasant vacation more than transfer trouble. In past trips we have either used the bus or the other guys. This time we can fill a van so why not have it waiting. See ya there.
