Shopping for appliances

Can anyone recommend the best place for great prices when shopping for appliances such as a washer/dryer and fridge either in Playa or nearby? Although our official move date to Playa has been pushed back to March 14th, we will be in Playa to wrap up a few details Feb 10th-17th. I am hoping to be able to take care of purchasing these things while there in Feb.
Thanks so much for any help you can give. I promise one day I will return the favor to all of you that keep answering my questions (or at least buy you a beer or two).

I've found both Sam's and Telebodega to be two of the best

Depends exactly what you want and what is in stock or can be ordered, but check out:
Costco - Cancun (they do deliver)
Sam's - Playa on highway (men waiting outside deliver v quickly)
Telebodega - on highway (friend bought washer/dryer there couple wks ago and stuffed it into their rented PT cruiser!)
Elektra - 30th Ave and Juarez
You can try asking Telebodega and Elektra for a discount - its usually not much - maybe about 5% and usually only if you pay with cash and they delivered ours same day quite a while back.
There may be other places too that I'm sure someone else will chirp up with...

Hi, if you don't have concerns with shopping at Wall Mart, I got the best price on a refrig there. Also, when I was looking for a washing machine, I looked at all the places in Playa that were mentioned here plus Mega, Sorianna and Chedraui. The best deal at the time for a washer was Chedraui(the old one). If you have the time check them out, you might be surprised where you see the best price.

Telebodega for sure. We even bought our fridge at Chedraui. An LG, and it's been working well for three years now.

Telebodega...hands down (good service, decent selection and fast delivery). Remember one thing however: Returns are problematic so make sure you know what you after.
