I go on Paint, reduce the image at 25% and save it.

Flamingo...

Upload your photos to photobucket, there you can choose photos to be sent to a forum (I believe it says).

Yeah, get a Photobucket account (free), upload the pics at full size, then you can edit each one easily to a selection of sizes for inclusion on a forum, or IM/email, etc. Then just copy the direct link, when you're posting on Playa.info, just click on the "photo link" when you want to insert a photo (it's a tiny yellow box with a mountain view) at the top of the posting box.

I have a really hard time explaining this stuff in text!

...but when you copy the direct link ([IMG] in Photobucket, you do not need to click the "insert photo" icon. Ya just need to paste the link into the post.

I thought the direct link was just the http address...which is what I always copy. Ooops! Whatever Babs says is right, I'm clueless.

No need to reduce size before uploading with Photobucket?
All the time wasted and hard work for nothing? But always happy to find an easiest way, thanks, I will try that

my bad....maybe
when i say "direct link", i mean the link below the picture that begins with [IMG]...not the URL
I may have confused matters with my explanation
