Ahhh, that $99 one way is $300 round trip. Nothing to sneeze at (achoo!) mind you, certainly better than the $500 I just paid, but not what they appear to be from first glance. I'm sure you Yapta'ed your $600 fare Jami? Damn alerts - they clog up my inbox some days!

They say timing is everything and I found that to be true in booking my flights w/USA 3000 for my trip in March.
For months the fares were at $600.00 ( including all taxes, etc..) plus for the direct flight I wanted so I had pretty much given up and was ready to book a connecting flight out of Columbus. Just before I pushed the button that morning I remembered I had not done my obsesive airfare checking. I clicked on USA 3000, put in my dates and lo and behold there was that $ 99 .00 each way fare I had been looking for. ![]() Believe me, I could not book them quickly enough. Two days later, I got this sale e-mail from them, I went and checked and guess what? The flights I booked were back up to $269.00 + taxes each way! Life is good, especially when you get lucky! |

i am so pissed at usa 3000. we booked feb 3rd through 10th with them. i asked over and over if this flight would go down in dec. {we booked nov 5th}. i was told we had the last 4 seats. total for 2 round trip 1049.00 . well now its 649.00 for the same flight.
i called and was going to cancel and rebook ,but 125.00 pperson each way lol. when i finnally got a supervisor i found out apple released a bunch of seats they couldnt sell. apple and usa 3000 are the same owners from what ive heard. so bottomline is we have to pay the 1049.00 no discount. i know now to wait, i always book my own airfare through them. apple charges a fuel surcharge. but we are at the royal , which is sold out so i guess that makes things better. |
