That's the impression I got from the waiter, too. My bf says it has been closed every time he has driven past it for weeks. I probably should go check it out, but man, I'm really too lazy to go that far south.

We will probably have to play things by ear a bit, and also a good idea to touch base a few days out from departure, but... Sounds good so far!

Funny thing... I'm taking my paralegal Lori (you'll meet her next month!) out for a celebratory dinner with our spouses tonight at a HIGH end steak house in town. Dinner, drinks and wine will likely set me back at least three bills... What is strange? I would MUCH rather be taking them to HC!!! Go figure!

Ate here last night and it was just as good as the original ever was. In fact, better, because they actually asked us how we wanted the meat cooked. The original had gotten out of the habit of that and, our last several times there, the arrachera was overcooked and a little charred, actually. Only complaint was that they didn't have any water to drink, so you may wanna bring your own, if that's what you want.
