Hmm, I think you are going to have to be a bit more specific if you want answers.

Schedules of what?
Grading systems of what?

Teenagers in Playa - do you mean tourist type or Mexican? The Mexican teenagers are generally doing one of two things - going to school or working to help support the family. Or they might be doing both.

If you are asking what Judy is alluding to, then she is as always right on the money. From all I have learned with going to Mexico, is that for the most part, the teens are probably the backbone, and hardest working, of the whole population. They go to school, try to learn a trade or profession, and still work the tourist industry to help out the family. It really amazes me, in talking with some of the, how they manage their time, but they seem to find it a duty to do what they can to help support the family no matter what their wants and goals are.
I can tell you this...a lot of the teens that you find beach vending, and in the shops are not nearly as "illiterate" as they seem. They "play" the system...
Their education system is still lacking, but they learn what they need to for the help of their families, and the rest is on their own...They learn in school or they don't....Like anywhere in the world, if they can get to further education, and take advantage of it...they succeed...
I can't say this is fact for Playa, but I don't think it is any different from any other place in Mexico. This is a country that the younger people seem determined to get out of the poverty level they have always lived in...
Not sure if this helps what you were asking, but hope it helps...

Hi. I'll be in PDC this summer for 2 weeks. Do you know which of the places you noted in your list are still open?

As far as I know, they are all still open. James would be more knowledgeable about that than I.

An addition to the list is that there is now a Casa de Piedra on 6th Street between Aves 5 and 10. Our meals there were very good
