Phantom Pages

Is it my imagination or are these popping up in even more threads? At first, I thought it was just happening with the exceedingly long threads, but now I see there's a phantom page 6 on Heather's (not that long) Santa pictures thread.

And, in case anyone was making themselves crazy trying to get to those impossible-to-reach pages, now you know they're not really there!

How long have you got James? Honestly.... they are all over the place.... on nearly every thread I've looked at in the last few days.

The USA Presidential Politics thread is really weird too....I keep getting "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" when I click on "Last Post"...I suspect this is happening more to conservatives than to liberals though....

James, you know that you are being mean, aren't you?

I klicked on your first link and it totally messed up my computer. I got stuck and there was nothing I could for at least 5 minutes.... Have to format my c-drive anyway though (need to get rid of Norton Internet security) so it might have been my personal problem.

I think it happens because someone has been banned, and all their post's have been removed. Therefore the pages on all the threads they posted on are all messed up

Does that make any sense?

no one has been banned (recently) and banning doesn't remove posts and that shouldn't mess up the index, however it could make sense to think that.

I did a script update a few days ago... perhaps I need to do an index update.

It takes quite a while to run that!

BTW, the link above, you said doesn't exist, works fine for me. Another hmmm....

EDIT: OK, I rebuilt the thread index. I don't see any errors, but I haven't yet and still haven't seen a link to something that doesn't work... I do believe everyone that there's a problem, but haven't seen it yet.

I still get this..Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage whenever I click on "Last Page" of the USA Presidential thread...

It is this url.. http://www.playa.info/playa-del-carm...008-a-374.html

I can walk through the page numbers to get to the final page though.....but I end up at page 368 or http://www.playa.info/playa-del-carm...008-a-368.html

This page shows page 369 and 370 available...but when one clicks on those pages one is routed back to page 368.
