The week before Christmas chat thread!

Going ot be a busy week around here! Last day for the kids is friday. Then they are off for two weeks.

I'm ready. Nigel and I had our Christmas together yesterday. He leaves for London on Wednesday. He cooked a wonderful Turkey dinner. I got a new camera
What are the kids going to do for 2 weeks?

Cool! hat kind of camera did you get? Did he like the boots?
I think we will go swimming, to the movies or bowling! Or just go up to Grandmas house!

Hardly any pain and only OTC medication as needed.

Having almost no feeling in my feet is good at this point. But it makes me believe I can get up and walk around without causing damage. I almost have to tie myself down to remember not to get up.

Its a sony cyber-shot. He loves the boots. He said he alomost bought a pair. They will be perfect for the house in London.
swimming???? do ya'll have an indoor pool?? Where does grandma live?

fred, take it from me.. do NOT do too much! i keep busting open my incision from doing too much too soon. so not worth it

only OTC? didn't get any good stuff out of it?!

Thats great that you don't have much pain. Best be carefull and not do too much. It doesn't take much to do damage.

Cool camera! We go to rec center to swim indoors. They ave a slide and everything! Grandmas is 15 minutes away. They have a movie theatre in their house, pool table, and pin ball machine! Don't see the kids for ours when we go there!

This week will be nuts. I have a bunch of grading, meetings, etc. and then packing for the trip. I finished Christmas shopping yesterday. I had a few things to begin with, but at least I am done.
