In addition to the "list" another must have is a Playa map from Mapchic. Have used it the last four trips and all the recommendation I tried were great! I just got the updated map for my trip Monday and look forward to trying out some new places. Pays to have Playa Friends!

anyone know of a bar named Babe's
I saw a photo in someone's trip report with what looked like shaved ice margaritas, different fruit flavors....and I want to go there this summer.

there is Babe's Noodle Bar, a restaurant. They make good Mojito's there and good food, too.

There are two Babes locations. The original on Calle 10, between Avenida 5 and 10. And Babes North, on Avenida 5, between Calle 26 and 28.
