More Green - from Georgia

ATLANTA, Georgia (AP) -- Former Democratic Rep. Cynthia McKinney, who was ousted from office last year after a headline-grabbing scuffle with a Capitol Hill police officer, has decided to seek the presidency -- as a Green Party candidate.

In a video posted on the Internet on Tuesday, McKinney criticized the war in Iraq and complained about Democrats and Republicans, saying both parties are beholden to corrupt corporate interests. She called the Green Party "my new political home."

Go for it lady! Somehow we have to break out of this 2 party system which was not envisioned by our founding fathers.
I would love to see viable Green, Libertarian, etc. candidates.
It seems to work in Europe and many other parts of the world.

Libertarian? The only one I remember was La Cicciolina.

Wow, i'm from Georgia and I haven't heard this....yet. Even though i'm generally speaking on her side of the fence, we could have definitely done without the whole sherriff incident...and several other things she's done.
