Favorite Christmas Gift When You Were A Kid

Have we done this one? Where's Babasearch?

Anyway, what toy did you recieve as a kid that you cherished most?
I had three:
GI Joe Space Capsule

One of those metal gas stations that you drove the little plastic cars into

My Daisy BB Gun (nope...I didn't shoot my eye out either!)

One year I received all of the Little House on the Prairie books. I loved those.

Wow...another time on this forum I've been rendered speechless. I guess not getting Atari in 1981 isn't so bad after all.

Well let's just say I'm glad our kids aren't going to grow up in the Soviet vs. NATO nuclear war hell, not that we're not doing a good job of inventing other hells for them to inherit.

My 5 year old daughter wants a guitar????...must be watching too much Hannah Montana!!!

Well, I didn't get the pony I asked for every year between the ages of 4 and 15. At 15, my parents told me if I could save the money for half the cost of a horse, they would pay the rest. A devious way of saying no, my allowance was 50 cents a week. When I was 25, I made them pay for half my first horse

Oddly the one gift that sticks in my mind was a stuffed Cecil. He was a character from a kids show. I was easy to please. Or, maybe my easy bake oven, or Chatty Kathy doll.

A neon yellow ten speed bike !!!

I never did get an Easy Bake Oven, my mom thought they were a rip off and said I could bake a real big cake in her kitchen if I wanted to cook

We never really got trendy toys, we always got stuff to play outside with.
I got a canoe one year (we lived on a lake) - we got sports equipment, skateboards, anything to keep us out of the house.

I never got a trampoline and I beggggggged for one for years.

Barbie Dream House. And I did have an easy bake oven. Couldn't bake then and still can't bake now.
